The angle I'm trying to work around at the moment on the technology front are widgets.
Widgets can be thrown straight onto web pages, used in the sidebars of blogs and more. There are as many as there are creative people to imagine them, and with widget services like grazr one can make one's own customisable widgets.
If you want you can even place widgets on your home page which you can use to play games like Super Mario.
I guess I'm seeing these as a way to provide extra content for public library customers - but I want to find out what's reliable and what's not. Like so many things web 2, experimentation and a willingness to take the odd risk is the key.

Ta for Grazr. A kind of remora hitched to a website?
Looks interesting, though i do wonder if the tiny widget screen would be a disadvantage.
Anyway, i agree, definitely be good to see some librayish experiments in action.
Doesn't look tiny to me but oh well.
Ah yes, had seen this before - hadnt noticed it was grazr though.
Grazr box is about 2" by 4. Not that size matters, as the font is suprisingly easy to read. Cheers.
loooved your "new" library card, you lucky fish!
